Make Your Own Kombucha

Kombucha is an ancient food dating back to as early as 220 B.C. It is a fermented drink made with tea, sugar, bacteria and yeast. Once it has a chance to age it is a fizzy, low-calorie beverage and can be made in a variety of flavors. Although Kombucha has many benefits, we love it in Ayurveda for the probiotic benefits including promoting a healthy immune system and relieving stomach and intestinal issues like diarrhea and constipation.

Participants will learn how to brew and flavor their own kombucha, and take home their own SCOBY and batch of freshly made tea. Materials included. $15 investment. Please register in advance.
