The Fundamentals of Fats

Fat isn't just a nutrient; it's a vital component of our health. It plays a critical role in creating cell membranes, producing essential hormones, forming nerve sheaths, and maintaining the oils that keep our skin glowing and healthy.

Without enough fat in your diet, you risk facing serious health issues. Hormonal imbalances, brittle hair and nails, dry skin, and conditions like Raynaud’s disease—which causes painful sensations in your extremities due to poor circulation—are just a few of the problems that can arise. In short, including healthy fats in your diet is not just beneficial—it's essential for your overall well-being.

In this class, students will learn which fats are most ideal for their unique constitution as well as how to make one of the best fats on the earth, GHEE! Everyone will go home with their own jar of ghee and instruction to make their own. All materials included. $25 in advance; $30 at the door. Space is limited.
